It's been a long while since our last update here — we've been hard at work on several product development projects on behalf of our clients and so updating the website has taken a back seat. Finally however, we have found the time to add our GR-SYNC controller to the online store. This controller has already been on sale to direct customers for >18 months and so reaches this website having already been iterated up to software release 2.0, a version that includes configurable Set Points and Servo mode, among many other tweaks and improvements.

Our GR-MOT1 controller has also recently had an upgrade, with the indicator LED communicating control states in both Green and Red now (rather than Red only, previously), and with the enclosure now including integrated cable glands on the input and output (versus open grommets previously). 

Over the next few months we will be launching at least 3 new DC motor models and related accessories, watch this space for more.

Now available online are the new GLA-Q40 250N and GLA-Q40 750N actuator options, further expanding our range of encoder-equipped linear actuators.

The GR-SENS has now been discontinued, with the GR-MOT1 providing an improved and fully integrated control replacement for many applications.

Please be aware that we're now in the peak delivery season leading up to the Christmas break and so order processing and delivery times are longer than usual. We will be closed between the 22nd December to 2nd January inclusive, orders placed over this period will not be processed until our return. During the past few weeks we have launched our new single-actuator control solution, the highly adaptable GR-MOT1, which offers many improvements over previous controllers. It is an ideal companion to many of our linear actuators and DC motors, when they are operated individually.

The GR-SENS current limiter is now reduced to clear, since the GR-MOT1 offers an improved alternative for many applications.

In the coming month you can expect the launch of new compact 250N and 750N actuator models, among other items.

It's been our busiest year yet here at Gimson Robotics, but we have finally found time for a website upgrade. Expect faster loading times, more easily accessible user accounts, and higher resolution images. Please let us know if you spot any bugs.
